Computek College’s Open Memorandum to Parties Contesting Ontario’s 44th General Election

With campuses in Scarborough, Markham, and Ajax, Computek College – a venture of 369 Global – is a long-standing postsecondary educational institution that has been training various adult learners – from newcomer permanent residents in search of their Canadian dream to citizens looking to transition into a second career – for jobs in Ontario’s healthcare, technology, and business sectors. From affordability, immigration, healthcare, and job creation, the issues that impact other Ontarians affect us too. Ahead of #ONelxn44, Computek published an open memorandum to all parties contesting the elections.

Against the backdrop of the upcoming mayoral by-election in Toronto, we are hosting a free webinar facilitated by Seher Shafiq, a national civic leader and educator. The webinar will provide an introduction to municipal government in Toronto, examine the powers and scope of responsibilities of the Mayor and their office, and compare the platforms of some leading candidates in the current race.
